The Rengo Group will achieve zero use of coal at manufacturing sites in Japan by 2027. Currently, the Paperboard Production Group’s Kanazu Mill and Marusan Paper Mfg. Kanazu Mill will convert to the use of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for fuel in 2026 and Marusan Paper Mfg. in 2027 to fully abolish the use of coal.
