New refiner innovation successfully in operation at Dongguan Jianhui, China

Dongguan Jianhui Paper Co., Ltd. has successfully started up a new mechanical pulping line from Andritz including the world’s first TwinFlo Prime refiner.

The newly developed TwinFlo Prime optimizes the pulp flow to each refining zone thanks to improved refining gap adjustment. This reduces wear on the refiner plates and thus results in longer plate lifetime and lower maintenance cost.

Lucart announces new logistics hub

Andritz launches new type of drying hood for increased tissue production

Andritz has introduced a new type of drying hood with electric heating that helps tissue machine operators replace fossil fuel, thus avoiding carbon emissions and progressing towards their sustainability goals. In addition, the system offers increases in energy efficiency and production rates compared to conventional fossil-fueled systems. An order was already placed, start-up will be by the end of this year.

World’s largest kraftliner machine enters service in Obbola

The world’s largest machine for the production of kraftliner has entered service in Obbola in Västerbotten, outside Umeå, eastern Sweden.
