Significant energy and CO2 cost reductions as well as increased pulp integration and the entry into the market for sack kraft paper are to set the mill up for sustainable future success.

Mayr-Melnhof has postponed the start of the investment project at its Kwidzyn plant to 2024.

Paper and board output in Ukraine increased in the first half of 2023 compared with the same period last year. Talking to EUWID, Eduard Litvak, director of Ukrainian paper association Ukrpapir, quantified the growth at nearly 10 per cent.
